Saving a Report



Any reports created through report builder may be saved within your company so they can be accessed and run again if you require. Please note that all users with access to your company and the report builder will also have access to your reports and the ability to change them.


The Save As function can also be used to save additional copies of an existing report, in a similar way to how the function works in most applications.



To save a report, select Save As in under the Reporting tab.




In the dialogue box displayed, enter a code and name the report. The description and category fields are optional and can be left blank. The description field cannot be seen anywhere outside of the Report Builder tool. The Categories simply sort the report into similar types and is only used when opening an existing report.




In the vast majority of cases, the delimiter does not need to be changed. If you are unsure, please contact the DataPay Support Team.
