Pay Packet

Pay Packet is the lowest scope level available in DataPay. Any values inputted here will override all values set at all other scope levels.

However, values entered here will only apply to a single pay packet, and will not carry through to the next Pay Run.

When adding components into a pay packet, keep in mind whether values in higher scope levels are set in the Pay Components or Components Setup screens. 
Values stored in the Pay Components screen are used when components are created during the Pay Packet generation process, however when adding components into a Pay Packet through the dock-able Add Component tab, values from Component Setup are used instead.

The Pay Packet view will default to Standard when opening this tab, however this can be changed to Detailed view via the radio buttons in the ribbon to see additional components and values in the Pay Packet.

The ribbon is where Leave Requests and Termination Payment wizards can be found, as well as the Back Pay calculator.
