Report Run Types

There are three types of reports that can be constructed within report builder: Employee Details, Pay Run and Standard Forms.

Employee Details
This type is used to report on information held against an employee and is not related to payments processed. By default it will report on all employees created in the company (incl. terminated employees). These reports types are useful for extracting static setup information about the companies' employees, however it does not have access to Pay Run information.

Pay Run
Pay Run reports are used when the information sought relates to information help within Pay Packets / Pay Runs. It will only report on people who have been paid in the selected Pay Run(s).

Standard Forms
This would be used only where the company utilises the DataHR and DataESS modules. Standard Forms report type works only in conjunction with the Standard Form Templates Entity. This option is rarely used by most companies.
