Data Imports

There are a number of data imports available in the system - however for various reasons a large portion of these are not available for clients to use directly, and are instead either performed by our Development or Support Teams.

Below is a list of imports available, split into those which are able to be done by clients vs those which are Datacom only.

Client Imports:

Leave Balance Import
(Importing Leave Balances for selected or all employees)


Bulk Change Wizard
(Multi-purpose tool allowing for updating, end dating and inserting values against a large number of fields)

Occupation Value Import
(Tool for importing a single Occupation value at a time)

Free Text Field Value Import
(Tool for Importing a single Free Text Field value at a time)

Bulk Employee Import
(Tool for bulk importing / creating new employees)

Datacom Only Imports:

Cost Structure Import
(Bulk importing new rows in to your company Cost Structure)

Employee Home Cost Allocation Import
(Bulk assigning of employees to new Home Costings)

Historic Leave Earnings
(Import of employee earnings and hours/days into the Historic Leave Earnings screen for Leave Rate calculations)

User Roles Import
(Bulk assigning or un-assigning User Roles to User Accounts)

Occupation Values Import
(Bulk importing of Occupation values used on the Employee Details screen)

Free Text Field Values Import
(Bulk importing of Free Text Field values used on the More Details section of the Employee Details screen)

Please note:

• Datacom charges our standard consulting rate for any imports completed on behalf of client. There is a minimum charge of 1 hour.
• We are not able to alter / modify / make corrections to any data supplied.
• Data to import must be supplied in the correct format for our system to accept using the supplied templates. We cannot convert data into this format on your behalf.
