Costing

The Costing tab is split into three areas:

• Cost Structure
• Cost Category Set
• General Ledger

Most clients will not need to make changes within this tab too frequently, however on occasion updates may need to be made to either the Cost Structure or General Ledger Interface (General Ledger & Cost Category Set tabs). We do not currently offer many articles in this area as General Ledger / Cost Category setup varies greatly between companies, so if you are not confident in making these changes feel free to contact the DataPay Support Team for advice.

Please be aware that if your company uses a General Ledger, then changes to the Cost Structure or Cost Category Set may prevent the General Ledger from operating correctly, unless it is also modified to accommodate these changes.
