Pay Packet Summary View vs. Detailed View

When viewing or editing a pay packet, it can be shown in either Summary View or Detailed View.

Summary View

Will show your basic pay components, tax details and superannuation in a simplified form - showing only those fields within a component you are most likely to need.

Detailed View

Will show everything which goes into the make-up of a pay packet, including full period indicators, leave accruals, ACC levy provisions etc. The detailed view will provide override options for almost everything.

These parameters, provisions and components in the Detailed View are still present in the Summary View, they are just 'hidden'.

Please note that components should never be removed from a pay packet unless it has been added either manually or through a timesheet. Removing components such as Leave Details, KiwiSaver, Pay Packet Summary, and annual leave accruals will either leave the pay packet "Incomplete" or may cause issues at a later date due to information not being recorded.
