Preparing for STP - New Setup



Single Touch Payroll will bring a new set of processes for our Australian clients, so we are attempting to make the transition to the new system as simple as possible. Below you will find a handy guide to the process with any relevant information. A member of the DataPay Support Team will be in contact with you, and will guide you through each stage.

Where the above steps are shown as the responsibility of the client, Datacom will attempt to provide any relevant information required, and will work through the process with you of submitting your first pay run to the ATO via Single Touch Payroll.


Note: the ATO has advised that once a company goes live with STP that no Payment Summaries should be provided to Employees on request. Should employees require a Payment Summary they will need to either login to their myGov account or contact the ATO.
