Datacom Payroll Press - March 2024 Issue

Welcome!

Hi there,

I hope you're well.

I am pleased to share some exciting developments that are underway in our Customer Success team as we make headway in 2024. In response to customer demand, we expanded our project capacity to offer enhanced delivery capabilities, with a focus on compliance. We implemented streamlined leave conversions, supporting customers in transitioning from annual leave to weeks and FBAPS leave to days, ultimately simplifying the management of complex leave requirements. Alongside compliance, we received sincere interest for complex integration projects and we see this as a key area of focus to build capability and provide more value in the coming year.

I encourage you to connect with your Datacom Payroll contact to explore how we can collaborate to optimise your Datapay experience for 2024. We are eager to discuss your ongoing projects and welcome opportunities to tackle challenges together. Our commitment is to continually elevate the services we provide to our valued customers, and we look forward to hearing from you.

Information Security Update

Datapay is committed to safeguarding your critical information. A recent milestone to support this commitment is our certification under the updated ISO 27001:2022 standard, which has been a significant advancement.

This certification emphasises a robust Information Security Management System (ISMS). The revised ISO 27001:2022 standard introduces 11 new controls to address emerging cybersecurity threats and further strengthen our ability to identify and mitigate risks. These controls encompass various areas, including:

·     Threat intelligence

·     Cloud service security

·     Business continuity readiness

·     Physical security monitoring

·     Configuration management

·     Information deletion

·     Data masking

·     Data leakage prevention

·     Monitoring activities

·     Web filtering

·     Secure coding

The inclusion of these controls reflects the ISO 27001:2022 standard's commitment to staying at the forefront of the ever-evolving cybersecurity landscape.

Our attainment of ISO 27001:2022 certification serves as a testament to our unwavering dedication to information security, assuring you that your data is in safe hands. Furthermore, it establishes a framework for continuous improvement, ensuring our constant vigilance against evolving cybersecurity threats.

Datapay x Humanforce Partnership

Last year, we launched a new partnership between Datacom and global workforce management provider Humanforce, enabling us to offer our New Zealand and Australian customers an integrated, best-of-breed solution that brings together Datapay payroll with Humanforce’s workforce management platform.

The solution delivers an automated, end-to-end experience with enhanced compliance, precise payroll efficiency, pay data visibility and continuous accuracy on time, every time.

In today's battle for talent, employers want a seamless experience for each employee — from onboarding and scheduling to payroll and awards. With Humanforce, we have a partner who agrees that the smoothest employee experience is also the path that improves compliance and reduces rework and overhead costs,” says Tim Hogan, Datapay Director.

To learn more about the solution and the power of payroll and workforce management combined, please speak with your Datacom payroll contact.
