Default Units Warnings - 5.x


The Default Units & Warnings Employee Group need to be added to each employee's setup to avoid incomplete pay packets. As normal, an employee can only have one group of this type active at one time.  

These groups serve two functions:

  • They contain the default Entitlement Units for most leave types (Days or Hours)
  • Set default values for a number of leave related warnings


Note that none of the below groups will set default values for Sick Leave.



5.1 Default Units_Warnings – Hours

This group will set the Entitlement Unit value for all leave types to Hours – with the exception of Sick Leave.


5.2 Default Units_Warnings – Days

This group will set the Entitlement Unit value for all leave types to Days – with the exception of Sick Leave.


5.3 Default Units_Warnings (BAPS)

This group is slightly different, in that it sets the standard Leave Types with a common combination of Days and Hours.


Days:

  • Alternative Leave
  • Bereavement Leave
  • Discretionary Leave
  • Education Leave
  • Lieu
  • Long Service Leave
  • Professional Development
  • Public Holiday
  • Special Leave
  • Study Leave


Hours:

  • ACC
  • Annual Leave
  • LWOP
  • Parental Leave



All three groups set the same default Warnings:

  • Waive Negative Domestic Balance = No
  • Waive Negative Sick Balance = No
  • Warning if Alternative Balance Negative = Yes
  • Warnings if Sick Balance Negative = Yes
