Setting Up a Payroll Giving Deduction


Payroll Giving allows an employee to be granted an immediate tax credit for their donation(s) to a donee organisation (listed on the Inland Revenue’s Donee List). 

To create a Payroll Giving Deduction, start by following the instructions on how to create a Deduction <LINK>


When selecting Deduction Type, Fixed Amount must be selected.

 

The attributes Taxable, Payroll Giving, and Direct Credit should be selected.


No action is required for the Payroll Donations Tax Credit as it is already included in the Tax Details composite component.
