Direct Access User Guide

Direct Access provides a web-based portal into the DataPay payroll system, creating payroll that engages employees.

Hosted in the cloud, they provide access anytime, anywhere to timesheeting, payslips, leave management and a range of analytic functionality. It’s about making payroll easier, faster, more efficient and more accessible for employees, managers, and administrators.

There are 3 different scope levels of access:

Employees

Employees can check their payslip and leave balances, submit timesheets and apply for leave.

Managers

Managers get their own dashboards where they can approve leave, timesheets and access analytics on annual leave and sick leave across their team.

Analytic functions include sick leave patterns, annual leave balances, head count, diversity, generation breakdown, and staff turnover.

Administrators

With payroll and leave information immediately available to employees, administrators no longer have to answer requests for information or deal with paper leave forms and timesheets, freeing up valuable time and reducing bottlenecks. Administrators can see at a glance the status of payroll, and drill down deeper if needed while broadcasting important messages to staff is easy through the company news feature.
