Do not terminate an employee manually if using the termination wizard as the employee will be terminated when the package is applied to the pay run.
If you terminate an employee manually, they will not be available to select in the termination wizard.
If a termination package exists, either applied or unapplied, the Terminate Employee button under Employee Details will be disabled. To enable the terminate employee button, the termination package must be deleted.
If you exit the termination wizard early, the package will be in draft status and cannot be applied to a pay run. You will need to either delete the package or start again.
