Termination Wizard FAQ

The employee will only be terminated if the termination package is applied to a pay run. Depending on your company configuration, Direct Access and MyPay user accounts might automatically be end dated a predefined number of days after the termination date.

The employee was either terminated manually or they have had a termination package applied to a pay run.

You cannot terminate an employee manually if a termination package exists, either applied or unapplied. Follow the Deleting a Termination Package steps.

If you exit the termination wizard early, the package will be in draft status and cannot be applied to a pay run. You will need to either delete the package or follow the steps again to completion.
