PAYG Variation Component

For situations where an employee receives a notice from the ATO to vary the PAYG withholding rate for a particular payment (e.g. Allowance Payments), this specific rate can be applied in the DataPay system.

This can be applied for pay components for either a specific employee, or applied to an employee group for multiple employees.

Firstly add the required pay component to the employee or the employee group.

Once the component is added there will be a field for PAYG Variation Rate - key in the rate in decimal format. 

Take note of the effective date and Save the changes.
