Overview

Parental leave needs to be recorded correctly to ensure the smooth transition from working, to being on parental leave, on the EasiPay system. This is to ensure that the employees hours get recorded correctly, and no over-payments occur, while the employee is on leave.

Client Responsibilities

The client must ensure that the correct commencement date is of parental leave provided to their EasiPay consultant. This will clearly outline the last day of work, as well as the first day of parental leave.
This can be provided though one of the following methods:

The client will also need to inform their consultant about any leave that the employee may be taking, prior to going on parental leave.

EasiPay Responsibilities

The EasiPay consultant will provide confirmation once this has been completed. This will be seen on the payroll reports (if it has come through a modification), or as a reply to the email (if it has come through email).
The client can also log into the EasiPay application (if they have access) to view that the parental leave has been set up accordingly.
