Overview
...
Datacom offers two automated banking options; AMSL (ASB Management Services Limited ) and Direct Banking (ANZ and BNZ).
The deadline will be as per the supplementary agreement. Ideally we want the files finalised no later by 4.30pm on the day so that if there are any banking issues and we need to follow up back, these can be resolved within Easipay Service hours
AMSL Banking Service
KeyLink generates and sends a bank file to ASB Management Services Limited (AMSL). AMSL will debit your nominated company bank account and credit your employees' accounts.

Datacom Direct Banking Service
Datacom offers a direct banking service to customers of ANZ and BNZ and Westpac.
- This service does not require a letter of credit (LOC) in place as the money is debited directly from your ANZ/BNZ account.
- Datacom charges 30c (exc GST) per transaction for this service
- ANZ/BNZ/Westpac can only debit from a NZ bank account and credit the funds to NZ bank accounts.
- The bank file is PGP encrypted and is sent to the ANZthe ANZ/BNZ/Westpac server.
- ANZ/BNZ/Westpac pick up the files and credit directly to the employee's accounts.
- This service is real time banking, the funds are credited into the employee's bank account within 15 minutes of the payroll being finalised (if the payroll is finalised on the same day as the DC date).
- If the payroll is finalised prior to the DC date, the funds will be released between 6am and 7am on the DC date
- If you would like to use this service, please contact your EasiPay consultant who will provide you with a new Datacom Supplementary Agreement and the relevant bank's Third Party Authorisation form.
- Once the completed Third Party Authorisation form has been returned to Datacom, it will be sent to your bank to be registered. They will advise Datacom when this has been done and when the new banking service can begin.
- Please note, if you are currently on this service and wish to change the bank account used (provided that it is still either ANZ or BNZ or Westpac), a new Third Party Authorisation form will need to be completed. Once the bank has given approval, the new account can be used. If the bank account you are changing is not ANZ or BNZ, you will either need to sign up to the AMSL Banking Service or manually upload the bank file yourself
