Client Responsibilities

If a client Client wishes to create a new General Ledger Interface file, they will need to let their EasiPay Consultant know. The EasiPay Consultant will organize a Statement of Work to be created outlining the work to be and the expected timeframe.   Once  Once the Statement of work is approved, the client would be introduced to a Professional Services Consultant who will work on the project with them. This PS Consultant will organise a Kickoff to discuss the GLI requirements.

  • Cost structure Template (if changes to the existing cost structure are required)
  • Employee Costing Template (if cost structure has changes or an employee's costing has changed)
  • GL File Template (tells us where each component is coded)
  • GL Example File with the format of the GL required so it can be imported into your finance system (if you don't have this you can ask your finance system for the format they require).

Sometimes, clients Clients may want to make changes to the way their GLI is set up. For minor changes, they can request their consultants EasiPay Consultant to action the these changes.

These minor Minor changes could include:

  • Adding or removing components as well as letting us know which GL code that component should have.
  • Adding or removing cost structure lines that employees can be assigned to.

EasiPay Responsibilities

Once the signed SOW has been returned , the Professional Services Consultant will work with the client to create the General Ledger Interface.
If there are changes to be made to an existing GL, the EasiPay consultants will let the client know a realistic time frame and action them accordingly. Once these changes have been completed, the consultant will send an updated GL file to the client to check.
